OMG - It's a 259MB .psd file. My computer could hardly handle it so I just gave up. Yep, this is as finished as this pic is going to get b/c I can no longer work on it. (The final image has over 130 layers!)
Anyway, this is Bladewind Version 2. Version 1 can be seen here. I decided to make a lot of changes to her, the biggest being the new wing location. I decided to free her arms so I could draw her in more positions without being weighed down by giant wings. (Yes, future shortcuts will include wings folded behind the back so I never have to draw something like this again.) Please full-view this image, I worked really hard on it! I cut down the image size by 50% for easy-viewing purposes. Bladewind belongs to me, and only me. She is a fusion of utahraptor, styracosaur, and red-tailed hawk. Enjoy! |

It's not that seeing the extra detail is bad, it's just that, due to the image size, it is first difficult for most people to see the image in whole, and it makes it a prime target for being ripped.
If you're ever planning to make a print out of this (or anything for that matter), it may be wise to reduce the size of the image, to stop other people from selling the image as a print too.

I tip my hat to you, ma'am. I can't imagine having the attention span to create such a detailed character design. x.x The head jewelry, belt/accessories, and quivers are great touches, and what I can see of her crossbow looks really cool. X3 And, yeah, excellent wings; I've had so much trouble with wings in the past that I really respect the detail and anatomical accuracy you've piled in there. But anyone who has the patience to draw that many friggin feathers all over her body must be insane, you crazy person. >_>
Gorgeous work. X3
I love the lighting, and the wings.

The only difference between fiction and reality is that fiction actually has to make sense.
Yey for dragon artists!
