Here it is: The long-awaited, much desired Photoshop Tutorial that everyone's been asking me about.
My hopes are that, with this tutorial, my friends will be better able to compose, color, highlight and shade in Adobe Photoshop. I've split my process into 9 steps that cover everything from linework to lighting...It took the better part of the day! Please make sure to read each step carefully for I've included a lot of details. (This is my very first tutorial, I hope that it is intuitive enough for everyone's use.)
Lastly, if you plan to use this tutorial in any way, please add it to your favorites. The more people who see this, the better it serves its purpose. (So share it with your friends too!) I started doing digital art about six months ago, and everything I've shared in this tutorial is self-taught. I didn't have any tutorials to help me learn so I wish to share my new-found knowledge with others and save them some time.
Enjoy everyone - and let me know what you think! Thanks!
Also, if you'd like to see the original image I used in this tutorial, it can be seen here.
Interesting. Personally i know very little about using Photoshop. I have it, i have a tablet etc, but i need to learn so much and i'm so lazy. But anyway, this tutorial will be much appreciated, i'm sure. Nice job!
Cool! Now I'm one step closer to creating a Leerhop.
Now I just need a tablet pen.. Do you use one of those? It would be alot easyer I think
Well done.
There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
