Hi everyone - thanks for viewing!
This is part of a series of photos I'll be uploading here on DA. They are all from my recent missionary/photography trip to the Arctic Circle. The trip lasted two weeks, and it was my job to record the people and events in five different villages: Kotzebue, Ambler, Shungnak, Kobuk, and Kiana. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip and made many friends! Here is one of my favorite photos from my entire trip. This is a photo of the Kobuk River in Shungnak, Alaska. The little boy in the corner was my companion, James, who I was fishing with. He ran down a little ways to check a fishing hole and as I watched him I realized the beauty all around me...I set down my poll and took up my camera. This makes an excellent wallpaper, it is currently mine. |
