Artist's Comments
I call these little guys "Leerhops" - don't ask me why - that's just the name I came up with. They are little forest sprites in the form of tenacious amphibians with the hopping power of the kangaroo. They prefer fresh water, which isn't always easy to come by. Because of this the leerhops spend a lot of time foraging for fresh water droplets on leaves.
Anyway, this is my entry for ~exquisitecorpsegroup which is a collective work of digital art from about 100 artists. Each artist is given a box with two lines leading in. It is then our job to use these two lines (in this case they formed the leaf on the left) and create a picture which has two lines leading out (the leaf on the right). I'm surprised by how well it came out. Please feel free to full-view, this is a pretty clean image and it's not very big. Also, these characters are free for use...I made a character sheet that include rules of use here. Enjoy! |
