My camera ruined a lot of the color. I did my best to restore original color in photoshop but I'm still not pleased with it. I can't fit this image into a scanner so this rendition will have to do.
This is an 18x12 colored pencil piece and originally a commission for *LIVETHROUGH. It took more than 10 hours to complete, lots of pencils, and a few major hand-cramps as well. I haven't worked in colored pencil for some time but I'm very pleased with the results of my labor. I really wish I had a clearer, more accurate image to upload. "Rairyuu" means "rain dragon" in Japanese and the ornaments hanging from his horns are "fortune papers" which are often found outside of Japanese shrines. Please full-view - thank you! Your support is greatly appreciated! Copyright Ginger Cooley. |

Thanks for your support!
Also, next time you're online lets discuss which pieces to feature in each other's journals so we could go through with that idea we had the other day!
