This is the drake from the "Drake in Ruins" Commission I completed a few weeks back. I decided that although the original image is beautiful in its own right, the dragon deserved a little more attention. The above image is 75% the size of the original. Please, full-view. Too much work went into this dragon for him to be ignored.
Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous! I don't know how you do it. Does working with bigger-sized sketches help a lot? 'Cause I think that a lot of the time I have trouble working on the details of smaller stuff.
(I really wanna start being able to do stuff like yours! Hopefully, with time, effort, and patience, I will x3 Your work is amazing!)
Heyo! How have you been? Did you try to call me last month? I lost the message that had your phone number on it if so...Or was that ~ShatteredSmile?
Anyway, I'd be more than happy to help you work on your work and make it more detailed. Just send me a note any time.
I like working large b/c it helps me on the details. Sometimes I work small to force myself to concentrate on the overall picture instead of the details.
Yeah, that was me a while back! I called to leave you a message and see how you were doing. I tried to call at a good time for you so that it wouldn't be too late or too early, considering we're about 4 hours apart, I think, lol. It's 6 pm here now ^_^
There are a lot of themes that run through the stock gallery many people have similar ideas but they pull them off in different ways. In this series of newsletters we will look at similar ideas but different outcomes.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 10 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. From participating in devmeets, to providing positive encouragement to other artists, `Rushy can always be found demonstrating what it really takes to be a true deviant. It's without any hesitation that we are delighted to award the Deviousness Award for July 2009 to `RushyRead More
